So I got this hairstylist I recently got cool with, ok, cool. She invited me to her birthday I came. I’ve spent 500$+ with her so far for multiple styles and I like how she does my hair. I cancelled my appointment with her 3 times, 1st time due to me being in the ER, second time I had a plumbing emergency and the third time my phone broke and I wasn’t able to reach anybody

She texts me sending a voice message saying “I know we’re friends and all, but this is the third time you’ve cancelled and I’m starting to get pissed off. Next time you come for an appointment you’ll need to pay a cancellation fee.” Mind you, I paid her a 25$ deposit already (even though she normally NEVER charged me a deposit). Part of me feel like I should just pay but a big part of me wants to take my business elsewhere.
