Do condiments go in the fridge??

I put all my condiments in the fridge once they’ve been opened wby?

Yes, pretty much all of them say refrigerate after opening....but, working in restaurants, they don’t refrigerate ketchup, mustard, a1 (just to name a few). The place we are staying right now is small, and has a smaller than usual fridge, so we don’t put some of them in, or we wouldn’t have any room.

I put them in the fridge Bc I can’t wait for my food to cool down enough to eat and the cold condiments helps it not burn my mouth...as much. And you’re probably supposed to idk

Everything. BUT! Ketchup, has to be room temperature. & hot sauce. If you put hot sauce in the refrigerator you are a psychopath.

Warm ketchup and mustard is the one thing I hate! 
I fight with my husband and in laws because they do not believe in putting ketchup in the fucking fridge. So if I buy ketchup I put it in the fridge with my name on it and when theirs is all gone they gotta follow my rules for my bottle 😂😂😂😂😂

Depends on what the containers say, but it also depends on one’s personal preference.
I have a friend who doesn’t put hot sauce in the fridge once she opens it. (Fine to me, I don’t eat it). But I have read that certain brands that are more vinegar based should be refrigerated.
Same goes with ketchup. I personally like ketchup refrigerated. Hot or room temperature makes me sick. It says on the container it should be refrigerated, but it can be shelf stable. But it’s another one of those products that should be refrigerated because of a vinegar base and the chemistry between the vinegar and other products. (Sugar, tomato). 
It has nothing to do with freshness as much as it has with possibly ruining the chemistry in the chemicals and it eventually not tasting as good. This can usually take months or years though. But they can all be shelf stable and I think it depends on someone’s preference to how they like it served or if they have room to store it.

I don’t like warm condiments. I like a cold/hot combo. 😋
Besides, we eat condiments so rarely, they’ll last longer in the fridge.

Everything except syrup and jam/Jelly. I hate cold jam lol we go thru it pretty fast anyway so it's not often that it goes bad on us

For the most part. I don’t refrigerate honey, vinegars, or nut butters though. I most just follow packing directions.
