I don’t qualify for a vbac, should i get a second opinion?
Doctor told me I’ll be having another c section at 39 weeks. It’s a fine option but I would have preferred to have a vbac for easier recovery. I have a toddler and I’m his primary care giver, I know it will be so difficult after a c section.
My c section was as a result of preeclampsia at 29 weeks. Almost 3 years ago. I never had labor or anything. The reason the doctor gave was that because of how early I delivered, my uterus never stretched or my pelvic floor was never ready or something odd like that. If I am lucky this time to make it to 39 weeks, does this not mean my body would be ready to labor on its own?
