What Should I Tell My Parents?

So I’ve been seeing a guy for a little over two months now. He’s in Arizona for work (I live in Southern California) and I’m going to visit him for from Wed to Fri. At the moment I’m teleworking so I’ll be able to work from over there. I just don’t know what to tell my parents. I’m 30 years old and I’m still intimidated by them lol. They’re quite traditional and they would hate me going far to see a guy that’s not my boyfriend. How do I explain I won’t be home for two days? 😅😭

You are 30.  Im going to see a man I been dating.  Are you driving? Has he invested any effort into you yet? I wouldnt drive anywhere unless he has made some moves showing you he is serious.

Just tell your parents you’re going out to get some fresh air & find new adventures lol. 
Before meeting my now husband, I was connecting with different guys. Not sexually but I was getting to know different people. I never told my parents about any of them until it became more serious, then I would tell them. I didn’t want them meeting all kinds of different people & thinking I was a whore plus, I knew if I didn’t like a guy & it wasn’t right, I’d kick them to the curb immediately. 
Just say you’re going on a little mini vacay. 
Or.. you could just tell them the truth because you’re 30 & a grown woman who can do whatever she wants lol

Why do you have to tell them at all? Unless it’s for safety purposes. Maybe just tell a close friend that you’re going to go see a guy?

You don't have to tell them anything, but if you are going to mention it, just be honest. They don't have to like it, but you are a grown woman and you get to make these kinds of decisions about your life and how you choose to live it.
