When is the first day of pregnancy?

Hello, I was wondering when the official first day of pregnancy starts. From what ive read, implantation takes something around 8-12 days? But then you have to build enough hormones for the test
To be positive.. so, do you add a week on to the pregnancy for implantation or just count based off your first positive test? Just trying to plan when to go in for my 8week appt. thanks everyone!
ETA: I have PCOS and don’t have normal periods, so I can’t track based off that, is there anything else I can do to tell?

Even though you don’t have regular periods, as of right now you’d go by the 1st of your last period. When you have your first ultrasound is when they will determine if it’s correct or if they need to adjust it. Congrats!

You got from the first day of your last menstrual period. So if your last period was February 15th, let’s say, you would be 5 weeks pregnant.
