Toddler hernia?

Anyone have a little one with a hernia? My son has one side of his stomach that looks like a lump or swollen. We have had no luck getting him a ct scan or a ultrasound since he is terrified and won’t stay still so now waiting for a hospital appointment. They said it can take up to 2 months for it and I’m going crazy! I’m so worried for my little one. His doctor is concerned and said it’s not a hernia but all I can do is google and I’m just feeling out.
