Did your spouse ask your dad / parent(s)for your hand in marriage?
Obviously not everyone has their father in their life.
My husband did ask my dad - we've been married almost 3 years and the story of how it went down just came up. It was a cute funny story that I wish I could have been present for! But I'm glad we got to hear about it. Made for a good chuckle as my husband was so nervous lol.
I'd hope someday whenever my daughter is in a serious relationship her partner asks my husband for her hand in marriage.
