Teething gel or tablets safe? Suggestions?

I am finding a very mixed bag of info on safe teething gel and tablets. My LO is getting a molar in and it’s been hell to say the least. Sunday night we were up from 1030-245. Her daycare teacher suggested orajel but it sounds like that brand is not safe. Does anyone have a brand they suggest? I am seeing a lot that say it’s unsafe but nothing about the “natural” ones like wink or mommy’s bliss. Thanks for any help/advice!

My daughter's dentist told us not to use that stuff. I can't remember the reason. I think it's the numbing agent that isn't good for them

I believe the tablets were discontinued and the gel is only for a certain age and up. It has something to do with an ingredient in it. Our pediatrician said to just get a wash cloth and wet it, put it in the fridge, then give it to help alleviate any discomfort.

I used the natural gel for my son & that worked for him and I used the natural tablets for my daughter and that really helped her. I still use them actually. I like the nighttime ones a lot. My daughter has anxiety & those help a lot.

I can’t remember exactly what it is but there’s an age limit on oragel and I think it’s 2? So it’s really not an option for when your babe is actually teething. You’re definitely better off with one of the natural options!
