She paid several hundred for a bathroom shade and it doesn’t fully cover window. What can I do

10 years ago my mom had some company come out and custom build a window cover for the bathroom for several hundred. At the time the bathroom I use now was a guest one and no one used it. So the window is covered except it’s short on both sides at the top. I shower and bathe at night and we have 2nd story neighbors and the bathroom is on the first floor and you can see out and in. So for now I covered it with a towel but my mom finds it rude. Idk what to do. Do I just keep as is and shower for the upper neighbors to see or any suggestions on how to cover it
