Do you wake a sleeping baby?
My pediatrician recommended waking my daughter (almost 3 weeks) every 2 hours during the day and keeping her up for 15 minute late before feeding. She said that would help increase the chances of her sleeping for longer stretches at night (like 3-4 hours instead of the 1.5-2 hours she’s sleeping now). But from what I’ve been reading, it’s recommended to let them sleep (as long as they have gained sufficient weight, which she has). I’ve read that waking them up during the day can cause them to be crankier/over tired at night.
