6week old sound like he has congestion in his throat

Hi all, FTM here. I’ve been super careful with my little one and trying to keep him away from people and germs as much as possible with COVID and all. But last night he started sounding slightly hoarse when he was about to start crying and today he now sounds like he’s congested. No running nose and doesn’t seem to have any other symptoms but being congested. How can I help him get better? ( also planning on calling the doctor when they open tomorrow but want to get a jump start if I can do anything today to help him)
