How are you dealing with the pandemic blues?

Covid-19 has been with us a year and even those of us who until now lead a pretty zen life have had out mental strength tested. How has the pandemic affected you mentally? What have you tried to deal with it all and did it work?

I'm usually not a very social person, but the pandemic showed me how much I like spending time with others if they're the right people. Sometimes it just falls heavily on me. Especially at work, when we have to schedule discussing stuff we would normally talk over at lunch. Spring usually has me wanting some kind of change, but there's not much to change now (I've already cut my hair a few weeks ago and now have a haircut of 5yo, but it made me feel good, so it's a good haircut).

I've bought some art supplies last week and I've started painting by myself and it really is working. I used to go to painting classes and I hoped I'd be able to just continue going soon, but the end of covid seems so far away that I just had to start learning on my own by trial and error instead of having professional guidance. But you know what? I just love it. It helps so much to just create something. This is my WIP and I've already prepared my next painting.

For instance I've learned that I should always check the coverage of the paint before buying it and to keep in mind the correct colors while painting (it's supposed to be pink, not purple, but it'll be after the next layer). I've also learned that stretching cheap paint is not easy, but a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do.
