Should I wait until after my missed period to schedule my first appointment? I’m still a couple days out from that but I’ve had 5 days of positive pregnancy tests.

There’s no rush to schedule your first appointment. Mine wasn’t until 9 weeks but I did call right away as my midwife and partner OB wanted to make sure my progesterone levels were good (I have PCOS and have had a previous miscarriage), so they ordered a blood test right away to be on the safe side. My first appointment wasn’t until 9 weeks.

No. Book it in anytime. Because there's a queue for ultrasounds in Australia. I went in for the confirmation blood work before missed period. Then as soon as he confirmed pregnancy, he allowed me to book my 8week scan.
