Is it too weird to give your twins the same middle name?

I think because they’re twins, yes it’s too weird. They will already share basically everything, I’m sure they’d like having some individuality. All the twins I know actually don’t even like having similar first names!

Considering they’re twins, yes. If they weren’t I’d say okay maybe... but siblings especially twins are compared so regularly and twins can often have “identity” issues so I’d try to keep them as separate and unique as possible. that and in the future it may cause issues with documents considering they’ll also likely have the same date of birth, same address, same middle and last name, same parents etc.

Not at all. All my boys have the same middle name as an homage to an old family name. Same as their father. If my last is a boy, it will be the same middle name as well. 
It’s a middle name. I side eye anyone who says that adults rushed out to change their middle name because their sibling has the same one.

I think it depends on why that name. For example if it’s the mother’s maiden name (or something else of great significance) then yes, it totally makes sense for all children to have it. All of my kids will have my maiden name as their middle. If it’s just a name you like, then not so much, better for them to have their own identity.

Yes it’s weird. They need their own identity. I have twin cousins who hated when my grandmother would dress them the same. They hated having the same things. They wanted to be their own person.

I just think the twins will appreciate having their own middle name. Unless their is significance to the name like a mother's maiden name. Even then, it may be nice to choose to different family names, like maybe one from each side.

i wouldn’t like having the same name as my sister. yea we’re siblings but we are also our own people. twins are twins but they are also individuals.

Personally from people I know who have same middle names they hate it once they got older changed their names because they hated having same name as their sister or brother
