Still feeling pain🙁

So I had a scheduled dr visit this morning @10:40am. It was for a pap smear, no big deal right. Except it is. It actually hurt. I’ve never really had one that hurt so bad. I was in silent tears during this examination. It was very painful. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love my doctor. The best doctor ever. It is now 12:30am( technically next day) and I still feel pain and discomfort. Has this ever happened to anyone else? Or is this normal? I’m definitely gonna follow up with my doctor tomorrow to be sure🤷🏽‍♀️
