Hospital BAG CHECKLIST:

When I was pregnant with my 1st i saw videos & thought” I would NOT need this and that”

Im going to take what she takes , blah blah. When It was my turn , I ended up needing totally different things than other women said not to take and thats because all hospitals are different !!!! Make sure you call your hospital and ask what they provide for you or go to a hospital tour and ask questions.

I remember not needing anything for my baby only 2/3 outfits and a blanket to go home all things were provided for him. But for me , i needed a blanket bc i was induced and iv fluids make you very cold ,i asked for more blankets and they did give me but they were so thin i had to call my MIL to bring me a warm blanket Idk how things are with covid right now but id be taking mine for sure. Id be taking my own pads , my own Perry bottle the hospital one wasn’t very comfortable as you have to bend , also id be taking tucks ( my hospital did not provide these) only the spray. Shower sandals , with my first i did not know i would want to shower after , cause I had family coming in and leaving . This time i will be showering Right after i get a pp room, so toiletries for sure concealer & mascara . Might take My colostrum harvest , in a cooler . Headphones for calls , mainly nursing essentials.

Nursing robe, bras, socks ,slippers, an outfit , im unsure about the belly band bc with my 1st all I wanted was to be comfortable eat and rest.

I do agree with other mommas “ dont overpack” like dont take all tour makeup straightener , blower... a bunch of outfits, pillows , i regret taking my boppy pillow it was more of an uncomfortable way of breastfeeding i ended up using a regular pillow🙌🏼 softer for a newborn. Thats my suggestion ive heard many women they say the opposite. Im sure im forgetting stuff but find out for yourself , if you’re a new momma. 🙌🏼 it will be helpful !!!!
