Thrown back out
I’ve thrown out my back. I don’t just mean it hurts.... I mean I can literally barely move. Getting up from a sitting or lying position is agony, it’s impossible to stand straight, and my legs shake from trying to walk without being in pain.
This has happened before a few times while I haven’t been pregnant and I normally cope by taking muscle relaxants and whatever else to help the pain subside so I can function. Obviously that’s not an option right now.
I’m terrified of going into labour while I’m like this, this is my last week of work coming up and I was supposed to work overtime this weekend as we are so behind and I need to finish things up. I do work from home but I’m worried sitting in the chair will make it worse. I also have a 20 month old.. my husband is home for the weekend but I can’t even think of what I’m going to do if this lasts longer... which it normally does...
Does anyone have any advice??? Should I call my midwives? Do you think the baby could be impacted by the amount of pain I’m in? Should I go see a chiropractor (I’ve never seen one before)?
