I tested positive for HSV, not sure on 1 or 2. But I tested positive in 2017.. my partner knew as he was there when I got the results.. we were only about 4 months into the relationship and we worked thru it. fast forward to now, he got his first outbreak a year ago and continues to get them.. I have never had an outbreak! Why is that? I feel terrible because I’m sure it was me who gave him the virus as I didn’t know I had it but now he’s the only one who’s getting the outbreaks and suffering because of it. I have yet to show any symptoms of it genital or oral. Can anyone explain as to why??
