Leaders of many ages
The youngest current world leader is Sebastian Kurtz of Austria who took office at 33 and the oldest world leader is Queen Elizabeth II at 94.
Throughout the world there is a vast range of leaders serving, ageism isn’t an okay thing, YET we have limitations on how young sitting leaders can be in different nations - yet nothing on how old they can be.
In that, do you believe there should be age limitations in your country on both ends of the spectrum, if so why? If not, why?
Do you believe that leaders who were born or began their political career in the 50s can provide your country with genuine insights to the current societal changes and needs of evolving people and generations? Can they truly relate, reflect subjectively and teach the change that needs to happen in the world? Address Human rights, Racism, Trafficking, Drug issues, Religious rights, etc?
In addition, in democratic environments do you believe term limits should exist in the array of government leadership?
Finally should these positions come with medical, mental, and all other pertinent vetting on both the young and old and anything in between spectrum before allowing leaders to serve or be put on a ballot? Should critical issues be disclosed to the people of those potential leaders?
