clomid newbie

After months of waiting around, I got my results today at the fertility clinic. Hsg scans showed clear tubes, my ovarian reserve was good at 44.4... hep b hp c rubella and other diseases were clear. My u/s showed a right ovary as polycystic... all this we knew and as predicted I was given clomid 50mg for my next cycle and was put on the ivf waiting list. What the doctor was worried about was over stimulation due to clomid. While I think twins are great, she said how we only hear the success stories and told me many scary facts about low birth weights cerebral plausy prematurity and other stuff. Has any of you ladies taken clomid and had more than one big egg during ovulation, and if so, how did it turn out?? my first clomid cycle will be monitored. So now just waiting the 3/4 weeks for my next period.
