idk what to do. i’m so hurt but i love him and he said he’ll work on himself to be a better person and knows it’ll take time to earn my trust again. he says he understands all the anger and hurt he caused, and feels terrible. idk what to do. he deleted social media to focus on himself and improving.

I went back to someone that cheated on me. And he said all of those things and guess what... he did it AGAIN. It was just all talk and manipulation. No actions. What is he doing to really work on himself? Do you really think you can trust him again?

No because the trust will NEVER be the same. You will always wonder if he’s actually working late or with someone else, wonder why he’s on his phone so often, if he starts buying you things or taking you out more you will wonder if he’s seeing someone else and feels guilty. I know they say it’s hard to say whether or not you would stay with a cheater but I don’t think I’d be able to stay with someone who constantly has me worrying about what’s wrong with me or if he’ll do it again

My situation my be a bit different, we both cheated (him more then me) But people can and do change. We have 2 beautiful children, engaged, and bought a house. He is a completely different person and I'm so proud of him!

Once a cheater, always a cheater. You’re only gonna hurt yourself in the long run. My mother and step father have been together for over 13 years and he’s cheated on her MULTIPLE times. She always comes back and he keeps doing it over and over again. Run while you have the chance and find someone who will value your loyalty!

Maybe a bit late, but like everyone else is saying, once a cheater, always a cheater babe. Even if it wasn't physical, they are major red flags. If he said he'll work on himself, tell him to do that first and get back to you when he's fully capable. I'm the type to give a second chance, but no more or less. If you happen to, just be smart about it.
