Should parents give their kids money from the stimulus

I wasn’t entirely sure how to word the question so hopefully my explanation will make sense. I came across a debate about how parents should give their kids the 1400 stimulus they received for each child. Basically saying it’s their money and they have the right to ask the parents for it.

My son is one so I obviously can’t give him 1400 but it did get him an upgraded car seat, a new stroller ,a ton of diapers and other stuff.

This is for question is for if you would give your 14-17 year old 1400.

My questions:

Do you think your child or children are entitled to ask you for their 1400? Why or why not?

If you would give your 14-17 year old 1400 do you think they’d spend it responsibly ?

If you wouldn’t give your 14-17 year old 1400, what would be the reason?
