Are taxes still due April 15?

I’m self employed and my dad was going to file my taxes. while getting my health in check my parents told me that it’s too complex and I should see a tax adviser. I just tried scheduling an appointment and they don’t have any till May. My dad also told me on the news they said taxes weren’t due till May. So I’m trying to make sure I still have time. I know I should’ve been on top of it, this past month and a half has gotten away from me. If it’s still Due April 15th, what can I do? File and send in check?
