I'm no doctor, but due to the placement of the blood with poop on TOP of it, it leads me to think you have an anal fissure and the blood is coming from the backdoor, not front. It's unlikely you'd get that type of blood/poop placement if wiping front to back. Looks more like a press and dab. Lol. Maybe I'm going a little CSI on this, but yea. If it were from your vagina, what the LD nurse said still rings true. Could be the start of your bloody show and there isn't anything they can do except exactly what they told you- and just monitor it. Either way, you do what you feel most comfortable doing. If they told you to put a pad on and monitor it, then I would for 5 hours. If it continues or gets worse go in. Check the baby’s heartbeat in the meantime and try to be calm. Wrap some toilet paper around your finger and insert it in just a little to see if any blood is on the toilet paper.
