Hi ladies! I’ve been thinking about purchasing a sneak peek gender kit.. I was wondering if y’all could share your stories or advice on when to do it? I’m 9 wks today and was going to do it about week 12?!

I tried it and could not get enough blood into the sample. It was a giant, painful, bloody mess. I requested a nee kit and will have my husband draw the blood with a needle if they send one. The finger pricks are crap and they hurt.

I am waiting on my results right now, I should be getting them in the next 2 hours. I was 10 weeks + 4 days when I did mine.

Did one with my last baby said boy and was correct. Did 2 this time and both were boy im so happy ik its correct

I did my sneak peek test at 8 weeks 3 days. I work in a hospital and my co worker is a nurse so she drew my blood from my arm, didn’t even bother their the lancets to prick my finger which was nice! Results came back as girl and I just feel like it’s 100% correct. This pregnancy is just like my first with my daughter. Good luck!!

Once you hit 8 weeks, you’re able to take the test. I did mine the day I got my 8 week ultrasound and it came back as boy. I am only 9.5 weeks now so I’m not sure if it’s correct or not (boy results could be because the kit was contaminated) but it seems like the accuracy rate is pretty high. I just did it for fun! I won’t announce the gender until I get it from an ultrasound.
