Are Docatots really unsafe? And similar brands?

Reviews on Amazon say they are awesome but everything online says do not use!!

I mean the product itself states it’s not safe for sleep.

You aren’t supposed to use them for unsupervised sleep. They’re fine like on the couch while you’re doing dishes nearby or something like that.

We loved the snuggle me for supervised naps or if I needed to set the baby down to go do something! It’s probably my #1 baby item!

Just don’t use for unsupervised sleep. We had one and used it a fair amount during waking hours.

Actually they are used for sleeping their motto was to use it in bed with you at night so they can have their own sleep space.... 
their motto had changed because they realized that not everywhere accepts it as safe sleeping I think they are based in Sweden or something like that... 
That being said my son is 6 months old I used it from birth to 4 months and he slept in his doc a tot inside his bassinet ... 
Parenting is like a what are you comfortable with kind of thing lol like they say sleeping in the bed with baby is not safe but so many do it... some pay consequences and others don’t ... that goes for a lot of things (walkers, jumpers, food)
