When will you start buying baby things?

I have been looking online and saving things since we found out we were expecting. We ended up moving last year and hubby got rid of ALL of our baby things except some special clothes I had saved. So we’re completely starting from scratch. This will be our 3rd so we aren’t having a baby shower. When do you think is a good time to start shopping for baby stuff?

I will start as soon as I have my 12 week scan and get told baby is ok 🤞

😂 I'm selling all my baby stuff not clothes right now at almost 11W. We are moving cross country this summer and downsizing about 50% in our house size. This will be baby 4. Once we get down there I'll probably start looking for a bassinet and swing. I also need 2 carseat, but I think baby is going to use big sister's and she is going to need boosters so that should save some money.

Once I heard the heartbeat. I started buying but mostly blankets and towels in gender neutral colors. I'm a planner and hate buying things last minute so a get a few things every check and also set money aside. I'll start buying clothes and bigger items after I find out gender.

When you find out the gender.. but I’m a planner. I would keep tags on and receipts just in case until I would get closer to the due date. But I do diaper and wipes stock up also. This is my 3rd also and I have two that are still in diapers I hope I can get my oldest potty trained before baby #3
