Fastest Labour Ever

April 12th I welcomed my beautiful son into the world, but it was far from the ideal situation. I was admitted the evening of April 11th with emergency onset preeclampsia and told that they’d induce me the next morning. At 8:00am they started a Pitocin drip, I was 2cm fast forward to 10:20am no progress & still 2cm my son decided to break the water himself. By 10:30 I started having contractions from HELL.. The nurse talked me into getting an epidural believing I was still only 3cm., at 10:50 anesthesia comes in and gives me the epidural, by 10:55 i believe i want to pass out. I lay back and told her “I feel like I need to push...” she checks me, goes “It’s baby time, you’re at 10cm” and at 11:03 I welcomed my handsome boy into the world in 4 pushes, and 45 seconds of pushing later.
