Ready but not ready 😅

I was told on Monday at my appointment that I’m 4cm and 50% effaced but baby was still high. I am scheduled for induction next Thursday at 39 weeks due to baby’s size (my decision) but I have no idea if I’m going to make it! On the one hand, I hope I make it that long because my mom is going to come stay with our son but she lives 100 miles away so it’s nice to have a schedule planned. Also, I will likely have a fast labor because my first was fast and I don’t want to give birth without my husband because he has to stay home with our son. On the other hand, I just want to hold my baby and for this pain and discomfort to be over! I can’t even walk anymore without my hips, back, and pelvis popping and grinding.

Is anyone else going from patient to inpatient and then back again a million times a day??
