Did you gain weight on hormonal birth control?

Question

I got nexplanon in October 2020 and the weight has been creeping up. It was so gradual that i dont think my body looks different but the scale tells me i gained 10kg. I've been working out 4 times a week and eating mostly plant based on a caloric deficit so at this point i am certain that my birth control has something to do with it.
Did anyone else experience the same thing? And im curious if stopping hormonal birth control helped anyone?

I had nexplanon for 3 years and I def gained about 20 lbs. I wasn’t really working out but I never did before it and I hadn’t changed my eating habits so I’m led to believe the implant had something to do with it. Tbh I really liked the implant for the first year and then things started to go down hill. The changes happened really slowly for me so I didn’t realize a litany of things were happening to me until almost into my 3rd year. 
Survey how you feel everyday and take note of something is reoccurring. It was the best way for me to identify what was going on. If you think your body is changing negatively and it doesn’t seem to get better then I would consider switching to a new method. I’m on the pill now and feel loads better but everyone is different!
