No AF for 2 months

It's been since sept 26 since I had my last period.. before now my period has been pretty regular every month. I figured I wouldn't worry bout it because it's happen a couple years ago.. well today I have been getting a real sharp pain on my lower right side. Almost like getting stabbed by a needle. I don't know what I should do. Should I go to dr and get checked out or just relax I am over reacting, it'd nothing???
