Constant cystitis ... uti

Good morning, does anybody else suffer with constant cystitis?

I’m currently trying for a baby but the thought of having sex and knowing that I’m going to get cystitis after is really off putting.

If you have the same and you’ve conceived how did you do it?

I always make sure we are both clean before hand, I have a wee before and after, and I will clean myself with warm water.

I don’t use soap to clean downstairs as that can trigger it.

I can’t even shave down there as the last time I did so that gave me cystitis.

I have been to the doctors and they have said there’s not much that they can really do, just to continue doing what I am doing.

It is such a mood killer like my fiancé will want to have sex but I get anxious and scared to do so.

I have never suffered this bad, I used to get them once a year, but for the past 12 months I’ve probably had them once a month then this month if has felt like I have had a constant one. The last time we had sex was a week ago today and I feel like I constantly need to go for a wee ...

is there anybody else in the same boat?
