My successful Vbac!

I got my successful vbac and my rainbow baby all in one!!

My water started breaking at 1:16am, my husband and I got to the hospital by 3am and they did confirm my water was breaking and I was 1cm dilated. I was admitted and didn’t really sleep all morning, around 11am they started me on pitocin and let me walk around the L&D hallways.

I walk 2 steps out my room and I felt a pop and then a gush of liquid down my legs almost exactly like you see in the movies, I go back into my room and clean myself up and walk around L&D hallways 5 times. I come back into the room and my water breaks some more, I’ve never seen so much liquid in my life! As soon as my water fully broke those contractions started coming. I planned a natural birth but was very much doubting myself, I tried the rocking chair, birthing ball, jacuzzi tub, and peanut ball. I eventually got something that made me loopy but didn’t make contractions go away. I fell asleep for a bit. I got checked in between the peanut ball and stuff that made me loopy and was 4cm. After loopy stuff I started to get the urge to poop during my contractions. I said I wanted an epidural, so they checked me before I got one and said it was too late I was already a 9 almost 10.

I pushed for about an hour and he was out! I was so proud of myself for going natural and having a vbac!💙💙
