Bleeding After Sex

my boyfriend and I have been together for a year and a half we started having sex a couple months ago and he's is my first.

our first time we had sex I didn't bleed at all. just a little burning when I peed. it wasn't until a couple weeks later we had sex and I started bleeding all over him. I had bad clots which I never had. now it happens randomly. but in a total of 3-4 times I've bled. any suggestions to what may be the issue?
