Do you want to know the gender?

Question

I always thought I would want to know the gender of my first child, but after talking to a few ladies who kept it a surprise, I'm unsure if I want to know anymore. What are your opinions?

I would live to find out when I give birth BUT I'm so impatient I just can't hold out that long 😣 I found out with my son and found out again with my second in 2 weeks

I have a friend who doesn't find out. She says it's encouragement to push and loves waiting. I could wait, but my spouse bonds better if we know. It's still a surprise whether it happens at 18 weeks or 40. I would rather my husband feel more bonded and be able to call baby by name. I'm also having a c-section this time so I don't need push encouragement. I need surgery recovery assistance.
