Anyone else's baby getting super grumpy and showing temper?

Lately my baby is literally grunting and giving out when she wants to be picked up. She will follow in her walker or if she's in her play area she will keep looking to be "up" and when she doesn't get her way will get so mad and cry hystericaply. I am a ftm, my partner is not a first time parent so he has taken to "blaming" me for this as I am home with her (returning to work soon). However this is not true, I do not have her in my arms alot and I'm really not sure where this has come from or what to do? I'm trying to ignore it and not "give in" every time but it is stressing me out. She's gone from being a very happy content baby to this in the last week only. (she is teething, not sure if that's anything to do with this change). Any advice please?

There’s this idea of us being our child’s safety, their home base. I learned it in one of my trauma classes to be a foster parent and it has really shaped how I view children’s development. This is that one thing I find I can talk forever about, forgive me! 
 So basically the gist is that all they know is us and they feel safe. Eventually, they get up the courage to go out and explore the world, do new things. but they’re looking back at us to make sure we’re still there to come back to. Then they come back and we receive them and reinforce that yep, I’m still here! You’re so safe! They get more courage to go a little further next time. This little circle continues forever. If at any point you’re NOT there, that circle breaks. By explore the world, I mean literally, but also things like trying out for a new sport, going to a friends house, being held by someone they don’t know. This goes on forever. Obviously it changes as to what it looks like exactly, but the idea is always the same.

Sometimes when he’s like this I like to just sit by him and rub his back and distract with a toy, kind of a middle Ground to show him that I’m here but he doesn’t have to be in my arms. But don’t let your spouses blaming get to you. All babies are different so his past experience is null. My first two kids never had an attached period and this one does and I haven’t done anything different.

Have you tried talking to her? My dude can be a total baby barnacle but if i say “be patient, i will be back in *time amount*” hes fine. They understabs a lot more than they can say

Yep. He’s a grouch sometimes! It’s totally normal. They’re learning that what they have to “say” is important and that their actions impact others. If I have to run to the other room for something, sometimes he loses it and screams and cries. I talk to him and let him know I’ll be right back and he’s not alone. Then I come back and hold him.
