Someone PLEASE give me hope.

I’m 40+1. 1cm dilated, 50% effaced. Baby is still high. I had to be induced at 42 weeks with my first. I want to go into labor on my own but I’m sure that’s not going to happen. Can someone give me hope? I am so sad right now and everyone saying “be patient” or “you’ll be induced soon!” Is NOT helping.
