Selfish.. Maybe?

My boyfriend and I have scheduled a 3D/4D ultrasound and we aren't telling anyone until after. Is it bad to want to do things alone?! Everyone else has been involved in everything and my mom with be in the room when I deliver so I really just wanted this to be with the two of us.

No there is nothing wrong with that. The only ppl who matter to be at everything is you. Everyone else is optional so if you want a break then feel free to take them.

It's not bad if you guys want it to be just the two of you- it seems like you just want that moment between mother, father and baby. Nothing wrong with that, your going to tell family after so not selfish to me.

Absolutely nothing wrong with that. 
We decided the first time around that my husband and I would be the only ones in the delivery room and we were the only ones who went to the sonos. 
It is a special time for the two of you. This time around my husband has been out of town working for most of the sonos so it has just been me and my son :) 
I love having that time with him just like I did with my husband the first time around. 
This is your baby. Do what you want :)

Nothing is wrong with that! My mother was at allllllll of my appointments even my sister in law was at some.. All I wanted was just one with just me and my husband ! I regret not telling them no.. Make time for you two to just enjoy an appointment together ! :)

It isn't bad at all!! I had everyone involved with my first baby and an hour after having her I had like 15 family members in my room and I didn't get to bond with my baby in the beginning. This time around I have asked family to not even come to the hospital until the next day. I'm being "selfish" this go round. I have family complaining and pitching a fit but I'm ignoring them because this is my, my husband and daughters time.
