Just covid venting

Yesterday my bf boss called and said she has covid so the entire staff needs to be tested, we went and did a rapid test this morning and his test came back positive! 🤦🏾‍♀️ now I have to stay at home use up my vacation pay that I was saving for maternity leave. Not only that I had to cancel our baby shower that was scheduled for three weeks away I just feel like it's to close after us having to quarantine or having family act like you have some flesh eating disease after you've had covid. I get shit happens in life and the bigger picture is bringing home a healthy baby not the baby shower its just sad that mama's have to miss out on special moments that just makes our day a little better because of this virus, on top of all the other things we have to deal with 😩, and before anyone suggests a virtual shower aht aht its frowned upon with all these aunts and grannies 😂. SEND SOME HUGS LADIES I NEED THEM!
