Getting the COVID Vaccine?

Question

I am a nurse who does non clinical work from home. Almost all of my family members received the vaccine. I have been on the fence about it for some time. There just aren’t enough long term effects for me to feel comfortable getting one. 
My husband, one year old and I have all had COVID. We all had minor symptoms which cleared within a week/ not lasting side effects. 
I am just wondering now if I should just get the vaccine. What are your thoughts?

Yes, absolutely. I jumped the opportunity as soon as it was available to me. I want to do anything to help the world be safer and I want to reduce my own risk or severe illness. I got my first dose of Pfizer and will be getting my second dose this week!

But yes, i would 100% still get the vaccine. And did.

This is solely you and your decision only. I would speak to your dr(s) if you haven’t already. It’s okay if you choose to wait/not get it and it’s absolutely okay if you choose to do so! At the end of the day it’s your body and your choice.

I’m high risk with a lung disease, and I chose to follow the advice of the doctors who have kept me alive for 31 years.

This is a personal decision with lots of factors.
I too had covid, and am ttc and will be doing fertility treatments. I asked my pcp, obgyn and RE their thoughts and all encouraged me to get the vaccine. I’ve been through a lot with their guidance and trust their opinions. I have gotten shot 1 of 2 of moderna so far

Personally I’m not planning on it but I also live a pretty homebody type of life. It is completely up to you though. If you aren’t comfortable then don’t do it. ❤️
