Mucinex?

So I recently heard from a friend who just found out she was pregnant that there is an old wives tale if you take mucinex during your fertile window it can help with conception (she did it and got pregnant that month). I did ask my doctor today and she said it couldn’t hurt to try. Has anyone else ever heard of this or tried it? Just curious!

It only helps with your cervical mucus, I havent tried it but I used preseed and it worked the first time

I did it for a year. Nothing happened. It doesn't hurt but it is not a miracle worker.

It’s not really an old wives tale as it does thin mucus...even cervical mucus. So, if your CM is hindering conception, this can help.

I did it, after 2 yrs ttc I figured it was worth a try. Got pregnant that same cycle. Wish I would've tried it before. I also used preseed.

Mucinex basically just dries up mucus-producing membranes so it can actually make your fertile CM less favorable and drier for sperm.  If you’re going to try it, just use regular and not the D version!
