Blisters on 16 month old - diaper rash??

I’ve never seen these blisters on my son before, and they showed up out of nowhere right after a bath (we didn’t use any new products in the bath). Daycare always puts his diapers on SO tight, so thinking that could possibly have something to do with it? We put a bunch of diaper cream on him, but still trying to figure out what could’ve caused this in the first place. Anyone experience this before?

That's hives an allergic reaction to something. The diapers being on to tight isn't going to cause that. I'd give some benadryl

Those are hives. He’s allergic to something. Could be something he ate, new diapers, detergent anything really. I speak as someone who has gotten allergy hives all my life and now have a Little one who does as well

Allergic reaction. If the diapers caused blisters, it would be in the line the diaper goes.

Those are definitely hives. That’s an allergic reaction not diaper rash. Something you’re using isn’t agreeing. I’d start with Benadryl first

Was the water temperature too warm? Did the baby get upset when you put him into the bath? They kinda look like hot water blisters? Try putting a cooling cream on it and let it get fresh air. Them blisters might eventually pop and become really painful so try and keep him from leaning on that area for as long as possible x
