How do kids call there moms beautiful?

Is it something you teach children to say? 
Or how do you tell children about mother's day?
Do you do something in honor of you for mother's day with your children?

Kids tend to model the behavior they see and learn. I tell my daughter she’s beautiful all the time, and I tell her she looks so fancy whenever she gets dressed up. When she tries on clothes I say that looks nice! That fits well! etc. Now if she sees me get dressed up she will tell me I look so fancy and it fits so nice and looks so pretty! All the things I tell her. She sees me wave to neighbors so now she does. There’s lots of examples. Setting an example while also explaining things like emotions and feelings and manners and all sets kids behaviors up.

My husband teaches our son to give me lots of words of encouragement, “thanks for doing laundry” “you take good care of us” “dinner was really yummy” “you’re so pretty, loving, kind, etc.” we also both use a lot of encouraging words with him, so it spills out to others.

I always tell my daughters how smart and pretty they are and how they will grow up to be big and strong. My oldest just started talking a few months ago but she now tells me how pretty my hair, eyes, clothes ect are. It’s the cutest thing ever!

I tell me daughter she's beautiful daily. She just picked it up and started saying it back. Started with good morning, beautiful. Now she dresses herself and I always tell her she's beautiful. Now she says everything is beautiful. I get good morning, beautiful from her. Grandma is beautiful. The blue sky is beautiful. Sparkly anything is beautiful. The flowers are beautiful. The birds are beautiful.

My 4 year old son constantly says "mom, you're so beautiful". Just random. I didn't teach him that, i believe he learned it from my husband 😊

My husband will tell my girls “look at mommy, isn’t she beautiful?” Or “doesn’t mommy look so pretty?”! We also tell our girls they’re beautiful all the time so maybe that where they get it too....my husband is the one who plans Mother’s Day and he incl the kids.

My boys just caught onto saying that by watching there dad and how he treats me , they have all learned about Mother’s Day because on that day just like Father’s Day we do a little bit of arts and crafts together just to teach them about the different holidays and then we do a family dinner. My 4 year old now understands it all very well and my younger ones will get the hang of it as they grow older (:
