That’s cute as hell

So I am currently hatching 2 chicken eggs.

I know that’s weird like, why 2?

Well I started out with 8 fresh eggs in the chicken coop but the ROOSTER over here seems to not be hitting the target on our hens 🥴

And NO dude I have had so many people accuse me of STEALING eggs from my chickens. I would PAY for these hens to sit on their damn eggs but they don’t want to.

Anyways, only 2 were fertile so they’re probably going to be babies I carry around with me and keep inside because they don’t do well when they’re alone even if there’s 2.

So I’m already attached. They usually take 21 days but it’s day 19 and I have one that’s starting to try and hatch. It’s wiggling around everywhere and everyday now since day 17 I wake up and say “hello baby!” And it wiggles back at me.

It’s really cute, but in all honesty it’s in an egg and it can’t see anything and it’s probably like “OH SHIT WHAT THE HELL IS THAT.” 🤣🤣🥴 pic of egg full of baby chick for attention

If you care to see it after it hatches, don’t get your hopes up until it’s day 21 officially because just like the human babies can take their time showing signs that they’re coming, so can animal babies.

It’s fully formed at this point, just has some things to finish up and it will be ready to hatch.

Update: I just checked on him, I do dry hatches so don’t worry about humidity for those of you who are Versed in incubating. There is no water in my incubator and it’s at 30% anyways because it’s so humid here.

Chicken doodle is officially breathing in air, and is pecking at the shell. Looks like I’ll have an early baby

Update

It cracked the egg and I have a chirping baby. It’s hatching
