So back in like 2019 I had this flakiness down there and it was pretty dry so I went to my regular doctor and told them about it. They checked it and came back telling me I had herpes. They never told me which one cause they were struggling to find out which one it was. So I of course was devastated but someone told me to go get tested in planned parenthood and I did. I got my blood work done and both herpes type 1 and 2 came back negative meaning I’m clean. Flash forward to April , I got the same flakiness and dryness and I panicked again. I put some monistat on it and in a day or two it cleared up. I had gone to the gynecologist in the beginning of April and they asked if I wanted to get STD tested and I said yes so they did the cotton swab and everything came out negative. I only got BV but I immediately got the medicine to get treated. Has anyone gone through that? I get scared super easily but everyone I’ve asked has told me that it’s just dryness and I have nothing to worry about. What is your opinion?

Btw, the first time that I got that I was still a virgin and I had never been with anyone to have contacted it directly. I still haven’t been with anyone that would have herpes.
