I think I ovulated AFTER my IUI

I started my last period 11/3. On 11/13 Dr told me to start taking opks because my follies were reaching the mature stage. I never had an lh surge, but on 11/16, I had a slight discomfort on my left side (which is where the follies were) so Dr said I was ovulating and to go ahead with the IUI. So I stopped taking opks and went back to just bding with hubby for fun. On 11/23 I had EXTREME pain on my left side, so bad hubby really wanted to take me to the er because he thought something was wrong. The next few days, hubby and I were like rabbits. I could not get enough of him. So now I'm wondering if I may have actually ovulated AFTER the IUI, like maybe that's what that pain was? I don't temp (I know, shame on me) so I don't know for sure. Any help?
