Am I in the wrong, I don’t know what to do. My baby is due is Aug. 1st and my baby shower is July 10th. My husband and I just moved into a new apartment and just finished furnishing the place. We go over to my husband parents house tonight and they bought and pretty much self built us a big baby book shelf for the new apartment. They haven’t even been to our apartment yet. I appreciate the gesture and it’s a nice shelf but I literally have nowhere to put it, it matches none of our decor, and we already have a built in the wall book shelf that was meant for our baby books. Im appreciative but am I wrong to be upset that no one even asked what we needed, looked at something on the registry or at the very LEAST came to our apartment first to see if it would look right. I feel bad giving it back or saying I don’t want it when they pretty much built and decorated the thing but it’s a huge eyesore that just takes up unnecessary space🙃 who buys whole pieces of furniture for a home you never been to thooo, like what😑. I probably sound ungrateful but idk know what to do I’m one of those people that’s very picky and intentional about my home decor.
