Which COVID vaccine and when?

Mamas, which COVID vaccine did you get and at how many weeks? Were you advised by midwife/OB to get a specific vaccine or just whichever one was available?

I just got my 1st dose Pfizer on Sunday. 27w 4d. 
It is a tough decision. (Spoke with several doctors, listened to podcasts, and read about it.) 
But getting COVID pregnant could be high risk. 
Post dose I’m adding information into the VSAFE registry. Hopefully, this data will help future mommas. :)

I was advised to get whatever was available (since the benefits of getting vaccinated far outweigh any possible risk- esp while pregnant.) I’m 27 weeks, and got my 2nd dose of Pfizer a week or two ago. ☺️

I was advised to get either but since I am allergic to acetaminophen they recommend me getting Pfizer if I can choose just because people tend to have less of a chance for a fever as a side effect. (I won’t be able to take anything if I get a fever). I’ll be getting it in about 2 weeks once tdap has taken full effect.

I got Pfizer at 25 weeks. All is well.

I got Moderna at 24 weeks (second dose at 28). At the time I talked to my OB about it Pfizer and Moderna were the only ones available and they didn’t give a preference, just get the vaccine when you can. I’d still want to go with one of those two though since they’ve had at least initial studies on their safety done.

I got Pfizer at exactly 31 weeks. I was exhausted. Couldn’t keep my eyes open and very sore arm for 3 days! So far everything else has been okay

I was advised not to get the AstraZeneca. I got Pfizer at the end of April at 31+3. 
Felt fine after! Just a bit of a sore arm!

Moderna at 30 weeks. Advised to get either Moderna or Pfizer which were the only ones available at the time. Would have gotten it in second trimester had I been eligible in my state at the time.

I had phizer around 19 weeks. I was advised to just get the first available! I’m a healthcare worker so it was important for me to protect myself from exposure at work

My doctor said as your doctor I’m supposed to say yes. So i took it as a no. We only have info on short term effects. We don’t know what it could cause to the baby in long term. I’m not an anti vaxer, i think I’ll take it after i give birth. 
My sis in law works in pharmaceutical and her husband is a pharmacist both took moderna and she believes the reason her 3rd baby was born premature (31w) was cause she took the h1n1 vaccine back then. 
I hardly go out and I’m in canada so everything is still closed so i can handle another 3months of staying safe.
