Anyone else ever get that lonely feeling in their marriage?

My husband and I have been together for three years and married for a year. He is my first marriage. My husband and I are 31 years of age. We have four children between us (I've got three boys and he has a girl).

At first I thought he was afraid to get close because his last marriage he had lost his wife to a disease she was born with. But when he asked me to marry him, I was happy. However, nothing happened. No change, not even a smidge.

Let me try and make this clearer. My husband is a hard worker. He works 8hrs a day in a mental stressed environment. He comes home, eats dinner, plays some video games, and goes to bed. He doesn't waste time falling asleep either.

Now the lonely feeling comes into play when I try to find a spot for me in his schedule. But to no avail.

I use to have Glow up for TTC (would like to have a little me and love to have a child with my husband!) but I was barely lucky enough to get sex maybe once or twice a month. So I've given up on that.

It's becoming so depressing that I've picked up a job myself just to get out of the house and to get my mind off of everything. Of course it's not working.

So I'm lonely. I listen to my friends, mother in law, and even my own mother talk about how their husbands come home and bring a small gift for them or take pictures together off their phones, or just spending time together. I smile and awe with them and tell them they are lucky, etc. it's even gotten to the point where I've purchased my wedding rings just so I can show them off and pretend that my husband got them for me just so I can feel special. Sad isn't it?

Anyway, so I'm wondering if anyone has felt lonely in their marriage.

Is hard drug use a deal breaker?
