Yes. My friends 8 months old was hospitalized for over 2 weeks in the ICU with whooping cough. I can safely say that’s something I’m totally cool with never experiencing so I’ll do everything I can to prevent it.

Yes. I take it every pregnancy. Unless there is a medical reason not to, I don’t think not getting it is worth the risk of a baby getting sick like that.

No, I cannot have ANY vaccinations while pregnant because I had an immune reaction to my last pregnancy.  It wasn’t offered when I had my first two kids (16 and 17) and I had my third (preemie) before the timing I would have got it so I got it when he was about 7 days old and still in the nicu.

I got it because I wasn’t sure when I last had the shot. I got every side effect but putting ice on my arm and taking Tylenol helped remarkably. I suffered for about 3 days and I had a huge bump (looked like a mosquito bite) for a few weeks where I got the shot but that’s it.

Absolutely. Just got it last week, no side effects. I had more side effects from the gestational diabetes test than the TDAP vaccine lol
